Robotic Spinal Decompression Therapy (RSDT)

About Robotic Spinal Decompression Therapy (RSDT)

output-onlinepngtools
RSDT uses computerized, automated spinal decompression technology to gentle maneuver the spine to create increased mobility and intradiscal pressure to heal spinal disorders without surgery, anesthesia, or downtime. It is FDA-cleared technology as an alternative to restoring spinal health naturally.

How RSDT Works?

A patient lies on a robotic, motorized table harnessed at the pelvis, thoracic or cervical region; automated, computer-controlled cycles alternate distraction (pulling) and relaxation, generating vacuum-like suction within targeted spinal intervertebral discs. This retracts bulging or herniated material, enlarges vertebral spaces, and draws in oxygen-rich fluids and nutrients to rehydrate discs and nourish the depleted tissues—promoting repair via fibroblast proliferation and reduced proteoglycan loss.

Key Benefits to RSDT

  • Pain Relief: Alleviates sciatica, radiculopathy, and stenosis by decompressing nerves; 70-86% report improvement in clinical trials.
  • Disc Restoration: Increases disc heights of 1-2 mm +, reduction in disc herniation(s) size, and halts degeneration.
  • Non-Invasive: Minimizes opioid reliance and may prevent surgical interventions.

Typical RSDT Treatment Plan

Typically, 3 to 5 treatments a week for up to 8 weeks are recommended for most conditions. Treatments are 20 to 30 minutes. RSDT is usually combined with synergist treatments to maximize and accelerate therapeutic outcomes.
